Hey there, I'm Enayla. My deviantart presence is primarily cosplay, which is one of my biggest hobbies, although I'm working on improving my photography and graphic design skills as well. I'm currently a student in New York, majoring in computer science (which takes up far too much of my sewing time). Feel free to contact me with any questions or comments you might have - I'm always looking for feedback on my work!

I logged in yesterday to a couple thousand notifications and a Daily Deviation!  I can't thank you guys enough - all of your comments, faves, and support really mean a lot to me.  I'm doing my best to respond to everyone, but it's been a little overwhelming, so it may take a couple days (:

Guild Wars 2 - All this is mine by elliria

I've been cosplaying for several years now, but my Guild Wars 2 costume is my baby - I'm a dedicated fan of the first game, but didn't want to cosplay from it until I had the skills to do it justice.  This was my project for the better part of a year, and it was a huge learning experience (I can't tell you how many times I scrapped pieces of it that weren't working out!).  It's your responses that make it seem really worthwhile to me, and I'm glad that I can share my love for this game to a wider audience.

I'll try to not turn this into an Oscar acceptance speech, but I want to thank Darkain Multimedia for showcasing the costume so beautifully.  And, of course, Saiyuki-15 for the suggestion and Pullingcandy for the feature.

I tend to save DA for finished products, but if you'd like to follow more of my progress, convention schedule, or day-to-day cosplay musings, please follow me on Facebook or Tumblr.  I have a long list of future costumes and I'm already working on a new one, so there's no end in sight for me ^^

I saw you at PAX numerous times, and I was amazed each day I saw your different cosplays. You have a real talent!

I know everyone is complementing your GLaDOS but I couldn't help but repeat it, since Portal is my favourite game :3 So, THANK YOU! I'm from Portugal, so I could never ever see it live, but it made me so happy! I'm glad there's a non humanized version out there, and a perfect one at that! Your skill level is baffling!!

But before this gets annoying, really... Your other cosplays are nothing short of amazing! So, big fan, new watcher, and I hope I can become half as good as you are as a cosplayer =3

It's one of mine as well, I couldn't help but show my love for this fantastic character!  I've just been cosplaying for a while, it takes time to work on your arsenal of skills - my first few were..questionable xD

Yeah, time is what I'm lacking... why did I have to study such a demanding subject *sigh* One day, hopefully. It's like with gaming xD No time...
Oh, that's natural, specially if you start from scratch. I know people that knew already how to craft many things but I didn't even know how to sew. Which makes it so amazing to learn, really, no matter if a bit slow :D  In any case, I thought your level was generally very high, even the older ones you have on your gallery!

Thank you!  I was as shocked as everyone else to find that the harness wasn't that uncomfortable after so many hours haha.  As always, one of those last-minute fixes helped a lot.

That takes real skill. Trust me, I've tried a couple cosplay things, and... well, I really should have taken a bit more time with them, but on the other hand, I know more about doing it now!
Your GlaDOS is AWESOME.
