Guild Wars 2 - Like fine wine... by elliria Guild Wars 2 - Like fine wine... by elliria
Back from Fanime with a whole new batch of cosplay photos! It's always one of my favorite cons due to the incredible talent that amasses for a few days, whether it be costumers, photographers, or videographers.

Character: Masquerade Armor (Guild Wars 2)
Photographer: :iconmikerollerson: Mike Rollerson (flickr.com/photos/mikerollerson)

Constructed and cosplayed by me.

did you manage to fix your costume in time for the photoshoot? sorry if i sound stalker-ish--i was the gal sitting next you you while you & your dad were frantically trying to fix the stockings.

what did you make all the rigid stuff, like the headdress, out of? i'm going to be working on songbird from bioshock infinite & could use all the help i can get ^^;

Yes! I was in a rush to get there and things kept breaking (just my luck xD). It worked out, though ^^

The headdress is almost entirely craft foam, as are most of the brooches and other details. The leg and arm armor is wonderflex, which I'm just getting into - it's a bit expensive, so I wouldn't recommend it for large areas, but for small pieces it's incredibly easy to work with.

ya, not to mention if it gets too hot your wonderflex can start to lose its shape! glad to hear, though!
