I had the opportunity to shoot with Shunichi Al Hayashi and Jeremy Kwong over the summer with my Guild Wars 2 cosplay. I'm so pleased with the results - we had an amazing setting, and of course these guys always produce magic! I was able to fix some elements of this costume and re-made the bracers and leg armor.

Costume based off of concept art for the Shining Blade from Guild Wars 2, wearable as masquerade armor in-game.

I have to ask, but do you make your outfits yourself?

Yep, I make all of my costumes from scratch ^^

Well I have to say nicely done. Looking at your head piece makes me want to touch it, and see how you made it. Also how did you make your princess Peach dress?

A lot of trial and error! I drafted most of the pattern from scratch and just kept re-making pieces until they were accurate.

You are just a Quarian with fabric then. Can you tell me about that little crown for Peach, what is it made of, and how do you keep it on your head? Also what did you use to make your head piece for this Mystique?

Thanks! Both pieces are made from craft foam. Peach's crown was held on with a headband.
